Sugar is used daily in all of our homes. But nowadays people have become health conscious and are using brown sugar instead of white sugar. But the most common problem with brown sugar is that it becomes hard after some time. But the good thing is that with a little care and some easy home tricks, you can keep it soft for a long time. Today we will tell you easy tips regarding this.
Easy tricks to keep brown sugar soft
Store in airtight container
Always keep brown sugar in an airtight container. A glass, plastic or steel container will do, as long as there is no air in it. Leaving the packet open causes its moisture to evaporate. Keep brown sugar in a cool and dry place. Do not keep it in sunlight or hot place. Store it in a cupboard or cabinet at room temperature.
It is important to maintain moisture
To maintain the moisture of brown sugar, keep a small piece of one of the following things in the container. Slice of bread, marshmallow, slice of apple, these things give light moisture to the sugar, due to which it does not become hard.
Use brown sugar bears or terracotta discs
Brown Sugar Saver (small clay disc) available in the market is very useful. Soak it in water for 15-20 minutes and put it in the sugar box. It retains moisture and the sugar remains soft for months. What to do if the sugar has already become hard?
