PM Kisan Yojana 21st Installment: The Government of India runs several schemes for farmers. One of these is the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. This scheme is designed to provide financial assistance to small and marginal farmers in the country, enabling them to easily meet their small farming-related needs. Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹6,000 is deposited into farmers' bank accounts every year.
This is paid in three installments. This year, the 20th installment was released on August 2, 2025. Meanwhile, the 21st installment has already been transferred to the accounts of millions of flood-affected farmers in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. The government sends installments every four months. Based on the previous installment, the central government is expected to release the next installment, the 21st, in the first week of November. However, the government has not yet officially announced this date.
Farmers who have updated their bank accounts, Aadhaar, and other information may receive their installments soon. The government usually shares installment information on the scheme's official website before the installment is released. This time, too, the information will be available on the website before the installment is released.
These two tasks are essential
The central government has made two tasks mandatory to avail the benefits of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. These include land records verification and e-KYC. Farmers who fail to complete these two essential tasks will not receive the next installment.
Getting e-KYC done is very easy. Farmers can complete the process online by visiting the official PM Kisan Yojana website, https://pmkisan.gov.in/. For land verification, you will need to visit your state's official land records portal.
