Mentha Cyclone Alert: The cyclonic system forming in the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal may soon turn into a storm. Due to this, warning of heavy rain has been issued in many states including Andhra Pradesh.
Mentha Cyclone Alert: The low pressure area forming in the Arabian Sea and south-eastern Bay of Bengal is becoming increasingly active. According to the Meteorological Department, this system can take the form of a cyclonic storm in the next 24 hours and there is every possibility of it turning into a severe cyclone named Mentha in the next 48 hours. It is being told that this cyclone can hit the coast of Andhra Pradesh by this evening, due to which strong winds and heavy rains will be seen in the coastal areas.
There will be heavy rain in these states
Due to the impact of Cyclonic Storm Mentha, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many states of South and Central India for the next few days. According to the Meteorological Department, between October 27 and 30, thunderstorms with heavy rains may occur in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Orissa, Chhattisgarh and Tamil Nadu. In such a situation, the Indian Army and relief agencies have been put on alert. At the same time, the effect of this cyclone originating from the Bay of Bengal can be seen in Bihar also. There are chances of light to moderate rain in the state between October 29 and 31, while some districts may experience strong winds accompanied by thunderstorms. Apart from this, Western Disturbance will remain active over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, due to which there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall on October 27. Due to this, there are full indications of increase in cold in the hilly areas.
How will be the weather condition in Delhi?
There will be change in weather in Delhi-NCR for the next three days. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be light rain or drizzle in the evening or night on 27th and 28th October. The weather is also going to change in Uttar Pradesh. Here, an alert has been issued for rain in many areas from October 27 for the next four days.
