The final of the Northern Ireland Open between Jack Lisowski and Judd Trump was delayed for around ten minutes following a medical emergency in the crowd.
The arena's "dedicated medical team" attended the supporter in the crowd and there has been no news on their condition with the two players told they could wait backstage.
It was a nervy start to the game with both players missing good opportunities as the first frame surpassed the 20 minute mark, prior to the stoppage.
Trump took a slender advantage into the break with the score at 45-42 as the referee stepped in to stop play. The official asked both players: "If you want to wait backstage you can, rather than just sitting here."
The commentary team added: "The players are leaving and heading backstage. Hopefully the fan is OK and gets the care they require."
Lisowski landed the first blow when the game did resume, taking the first frame after 30 minutes of play. The 34-year-old, who lost his father earlier this year, is on the hunt for his first ranking title.
His opponent and close friend, Trump, is looking to win his fifth Northern Ireland Open title and the 31st ranking title of his career in his 50th final.
Speaking about their friendship ahead of the final, Trump said:"I will be giving it my all tomorrow, it will be an incredible final. It's brilliant to see Jack playing this well, he has had a tough time. Everyone is glad to see him back.
"We grew up together and played in pretty much every junior final, so it's amazing to be playing him in this final 20 years later.
"An arena like this deserves a great final."
