But homemade chutney does not taste like hotel. That’s why today we are going to tell you an easy recipe to make coconut chutney in hotel style Udpi method. This chutney will be loved by everyone from kids to adults. You can eat coconut chutney with any dish other than idli, dosa. While making coconut chutney, wet coconut pulp, red chillies and mustard seeds, curry leaves are added to it. You can make South Indian flavored coconut chutney in a traditional way. Materials:

  • Kiss of coconut
  • Green chillies
  • salt
  • Peanuts
  • Chickpeas
  • Green chillies
  • Coriander
  • Red dry chilies
  • Asafoetida
  • curry leaves
  • cumin
  • White urad dal

Make a spicy tangy pickle from green chillies in 5 minutes, adding a colorful flavor to the rice.

Action:

  • To make coconut chutney, first of all, add wet coconut pulp, gram, roasted peanuts, coriander, ginger, green chillies, salt to taste and a little water in a mixer bowl to a fine paste.
  • Do not add too much water while making the chutney. This may dilute the chutney and spoil the taste.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan and add chana dal, white urad dal, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida, dry red chillies and curry leaves.
  • Pour the prepared fodni over the chutney and mix. Udpi style coconut chutney made in an easy way is ready.
