NITAL, OCTOBER 27 (UDAIPUR KIRAN): Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela is currently on a private visit to Nainital along with her family. During her stay, she revisited her childhood memoriesadmired the natural beauty of Nainitaland appreciated the tourism potential of Uttarakhand. She also hinted at launching a special initiative to promote Uttarakhand tourism in the near future.

Speaking to media persons during her outing and boating session in Nainital, Urvashi said that the hill town holds a special place in her heart as her childhood was spent at her maternal home in Mamkoteher mother Meera Rautela’s native place.
During her visit, the actress offered prayers at the Naina Devi Temple and enjoyed boating in the scenic NIー. She was also seen strolling through the Bhotiya Market and Tibetan Marketwhere she interacted with locals, tasted local delicacies, and posed for selfies with fans.
Calling Nainital “a paradise on earth,” Urvashi said the region, with its lakes, hills, and templesis ideal not only for tourism but also for film production. She expressed her wish to shoot a film in Nainitalreliving her childhood memories in the process.
Before arriving in Nainital, Urvashi visited Jageshwar Dham and Chitai Temple in Almorafollowed by Kainchi Dham to seek blessings from Neem Karoli Baba. She revealed that she will soon begin work on a special project aimed at promoting Uttarakhand tourismadding that the warmth and simplicity of the hill people always attract her.
Her mention of Pantnagar Airport during the conversation sparked light-hearted buzz on social mediawith fans playfully linking it to cricketer Rishabh Pant. However, Urvashi has previously denied any personal connection with him.
The actress also shared several glimpses of Nainital’s lakes, temples, and valleys on her social media handles, captioning them with the heartfelt message — “Nainital is my home, a part of my soul.” The posts received thousands of appreciative comments, with fans writing, “Nainital got its childhood back.”
Local traders said that if Urvashi chooses to shoot a film in Nainital, it would significantly boost local tourism and the regional economy.
