Delhi Weather Update:Now winter has slowly started knocking in Delhi and NCR. Sunday morning was the coldest of the season in the capital, when the minimum temperature was recorded at 15.8 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), Western Disturbance has become active from Monday, October 27, due to which there is a possibility of light rain and strong winds in many parts of North India including Delhi-Noida.
Changing weather in the coming days
According to the IMD report, between October 27 and October 29, the western Himalayan areas and the plain states of North India will be affected by western disturbances. The sky will remain cloudy in Delhi for the next two days and there may be light rain in some areas. If there is no rain then the Delhi government is considering a plan to make artificial rain so that the pollution level can be reduced.
Cold will increase and fog will prevail from November
Weather experts say that this time due to La Nina it will be colder than normal in North India. Cold will start increasing in Delhi from the beginning of November and there is a possibility of dense fog after November 1. Due to this, the temperature is expected to drop further. At present the minimum temperature is continuously falling, and the effect of cold will intensify in the coming weeks.
Delhi will shiver due to icy winds
The Meteorological Department estimates that the maximum temperature will also drop. At present it has been recorded at 33.1 degrees Celsius, which may drop to around 28 degrees by the beginning of November. There is a possibility of snowfall in the hilly areas, due to which icy winds will start blowing and the effect of cold will reach the plains.
