New Delhi: The Indian Railways is once again facing significant difficulties due to fog during the winter season. All claims of maintaining normal train operations amid the fog have been shattered once again. The Railways has decided to cancel several long-distance express trains for three months. However despite spending crores of rupees trains continue to be cancelled during the cold and foggy season causing inconvenience to passengers. Cancelled Trains from December 1 2025 to February 28 2026 This year the Railways has announced the cancellation of several trains from December 1 2025 to February 28 2026. This includes the Jalandhar-Delhi Superfast Express a major train on the Saharanpur-Delhi route which will remain suspended until March 1 2026. The cancellation of these trains during the winter season will increase the difficulties for passengers especially those who have already booked tickets. A.K. Tyagi Senior Superintendent of Saharanpur Station stated that due to fog instructions have been received to cancel several trains for a period. The Railways have stated that alternative arrangements will be made for the convenience of passengers ensuring they do not face any problems during their travel.
