Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has addressed her farm struggles in a candid update.

The Yorkshire Shepherdess continues to live and work at Ravenseat Farm alongside her former husband Clive and their nine children.

Their inaugural documentary series, Our Yorkshire Farm, launched on Channel 5 in 2018 and has subsequently become one of the network's most beloved programmes.

Channel 4 commissioned a ten-part series last year, entitled Our Farm Next Door, which chronicles the family's ambitious renovation of a 200-year-old farmhouse in the Yorkshire Dales.

The second series premiered earlier this year, with the programme since securing renewal for two additional seasons, reports the Manchester Evening News.

On Saturday (October 25), Amanda turned to Instagram to provide her followers with a farm update.

Alongside a collection of photographs of herself and her children working on the farm, Amanda penned: "Life is busy. Obstacles thrown into your path, the road is never smooth.

"We just tackle everything head on (or arse first in the case of sheep at the moment). Always do our best and turn our hand to anything. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

"Nowadays we have to be stronger than ever and mental strength (mindset) is the biggest driver of confidence and resilience."

Supporters swiftly flocked to the comments section to express their backing, with one individual posting: "What a great family you have."

Another contributed: "Back at it Amanda! Go team Owen," whilst a third commented: "Resilience, definitely resilience Amanda."

A fourth fan echoed the sentiment, stating: "Really wish TV would commission you some more shows Amanda as we absolutely love watching your shows. Would be great to see what's happening now."

Amanda provided another update on social media after attending the Royal Television Society Yorkshire Awards with her film crew. Her show, Our Farm Next Door, was notably nominated in the Features category at the event.

"As I said, nothing ventured, nothing gained. You have to be in it to win," she captioned the post.

"A great evening spent at @rts_yorkshire awards with our dedicated film crew @markrobi1966, my agent @jocantello1 @channel4 and dragged from his workshop @philiprichardsontimber all joined @wiseowlfilms.

"We're all proud to be part of #OurFarmNextDoor. Excellent evening, great banter and good food."

Our Yorkshire Farm is available to stream on Channel 5, while Our Farm Next Door can be viewed on Channel 4
