The central government has decided to open 10 Indian Institutes of Creative Technologies across the country over the next 10 years. The first such institute is being opened in Mumbai, with construction work beginning in November. During this period, its operations will be managed from the Film Institute in Pune.

This institute will teach all skills related to creative education. Curriculum development is being developed in collaboration with the industry.

Education in Creative Technology is Essential
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting believes that Indian talent can achieve significant success in this multi-billion-dollar sector. To achieve this, it is essential to provide education in creative technology while keeping pace with the world. This is why the government has initiated this initiative to keep pace with the times.

To develop the market in this field and make India a hub, the government recently hosted the Web Summit in Mumbai, which was attended by creative professionals and prominent film personalities from around the world.

The government is also making changes to the advertising policy. An official stated that the government is also revising the advertising policy to support the traditional media sector. Advertising quotas and scope for print and TV media will be expanded to support the media industry. This is a timely step that needs to be implemented in a transparent and regulated manner, and work is underway.
