There's some very important news for students appearing for the UP Board 10th and 12th exams in 2026. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has extended the last date for making corrections to the 2026 board exam forms. Registered students can now make amendments to their registration forms until October 31st. During this time, students can make corrections to their educational and personal details.
The board has taken this decision to prevent students from facing problems after the results are released. Many students enter incorrect information, such as their name, etc., when applying, which can cause problems later. To maintain data integrity, the board has allowed changes to various details. Students and their schools can now request corrections.
Students can make changes to personal information such as their name, guardian's name, date of birth, gender, and caste in the board exam forms. Academic details can be updated, including selecting a subject/class and correcting the high school roll number entered during Class 11 registration. Students can also correct spelling errors in their parents' name and make changes to their photo and other supporting documents.
The Board has emphasized that ensuring these details are correct before the results are processed is crucial for generating error-free mark sheets and certificates, which are crucial for higher education and career advancement.
UP Board Exam 2026: Students Cannot Make Corrections in Forms Directly
Students should note that they cannot make corrections to their application forms themselves by visiting the Board's official website. Students must contact their school principals, who will then collect all applications and submit them, along with the required supporting documents, to the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) office. The Board has directed all school principals and relevant officials to complete this process as quickly as possible.
