Adobe Inc. announced on Tuesday that it is partnering with Alphabet Inc.’s YouTube to integrate its Premiere mobile video editing capabilities directly into YouTube Shorts through a new creative platform called “Create for YouTube Shorts.” The feature will soon be available in Adobe’s Premiere mobile app.
According to Adobe, the partnership aims to empower creators with professional-grade video editing tools tailored specifically for short-form content. The new platform will offer exclusive effects, transitions, templates, and other creative tools to help users produce engaging Shorts—from travel vlogs and lifestyle videos to behind-the-scenes content—and seamlessly share them on YouTube.
“Creators will have access to Adobe’s powerful video editing tools including exclusive effects, transitions, templates, and more, designed for creating eye-catching YouTube Shorts,” the company said in a statement.
In addition to the YouTube collaboration, Adobe unveiled a range of AI-driven innovationsincluding:
- New “on-brand” AI models for businesses under Adobe Firefly Foundry,
- An AI assistant integrated into Photoshop and Adobe Express,
- A fully licensed audio track generation feature within Adobe Fireflyenabling creators to craft soundtracks safely for commercial use.
The latest updates highlight Adobe’s strategy to blend AI innovation with creator-focused toolsstrengthening its position as a key enabler of the digital content ecosystem amid the surge in short-form video consumption.
