Cyclone Montha: On Tuesday morning, Montha turned into a severe cyclonic storm. Due to its effect, high waves have started rising in the sea in the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Odisha and West Bengal.

Cyclone Montha: Cyclonic storm Montha, which originated from the Bay of Bengal, hit the Andhra Pradesh coast at around 7 pm on Tuesday evening. Due to this, strong winds blew at a speed of about 100 kilometers per hour and it also rained heavily. According to the Meteorological Department, the storm may reach the coastal areas of Odisha by Wednesday morning. Due to the impact of the storm, high waves arose in the sea in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Odisha and West Bengal and there will be continuous heavy rains and stormy winds.

Cyclone Montha hits the east coast

Cyclone Montha hit the east coast on Tuesday night. It reached near Kakinada between Machilipatnam and Kalingapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. During this period, strong winds blew at a speed of 100 kilometers per hour and there was heavy rain. Due to the storm, trees and electric wires fell at many places, causing damage in many cities and causing waves up to 10 feet high in the sea. The Meteorological Department has said that in the next six hours this storm will weaken and turn into a normal cyclone.

Cold will increase in Delhi

These days the weather has changed in Delhi, UP, Haryana and Punjab and mild cold has increased. The Meteorological Department says that this is the effect of Cyclone Montha. Department scientist Atul Kumar Singh said that on October 30, there may be heavy rain in some areas of Banaras and Mirzapur. At the same time, after Diwali, pollution has increased rapidly in Delhi. To reduce this, the government has decided to do cloud seeding i.e. artificial rain. Delhi CM Rekha Gupta said that cloud seeding is a need for Delhi and this is the first experiment of its kind.
