This is felt because sometimes some reactions in the blood are delayed due to movement. This can also be felt in elderly people due to the problem of postural hypotension. Due to this, dizziness may be felt for three minutes or more after standing up.

Postural hypotension, i.e. sudden lowering of blood pressure, increases the risk of heart disease, depression and dementia. To avoid this, health experts advise to change the sleeping or sitting position gradually rather than suddenly. Apart from this, avoid alcohol, heavy food, bathing with hot water and sleep with your head elevated while sleeping. To keep blood pressure normal, do some exercise every day.

In some severe cases, dizziness can also be a sign of brain tumor. This tumor starts growing in the part of the brain that controls balance. Because of this you have difficulty in balancing and you feel sick. Due to hormonal imbalance, eyesight also starts becoming weak.

Side effects of medicines-
Due to side effects of some medicines, one feels weakness or dizziness. When a new medicine is introduced into the body or by taking a higher dose, the head starts spinning. This also happens due to side effects of seizures, depression, low blood pressure medicines and some pain killers.

Difficulty-
If you are experiencing difficulty in hearing along with dizziness, then it could also be a problem to the inner ear. Swelling of the ear occurs in both labyrinthitis and vestibular neuritis.
