He added that 3,000 circle-based officer recruitments are being considered. This process should be completed in the current financial year.
Recruitment for 18,000 Posts
The coming new year is poised to be a good one for employment, as SBI Chairman C.S. Shetty has announced 18,000 vacancies. He stated that 18,000 vacancies will be announced across various categories. Of these, approximately 13,500 will be clerical positions, while the remaining will be officer-level and local-level recruitments.
Candidates should speed up their preparations.
The bank is taking steps to address this gap and achieve its medium-term goal of 30 percent women in its workforce. SBI has a total employee strength of over 2.4 lakh, the highest number among any organization in the country and the largest in the banking industry. To further enhance work efficiency, SBI is planning a bumper recruitment drive. Those interested in banking jobs should speed up their preparations.
