Honda Super-One Design
The Honda Super-One Prototype’s design distinguishes it from other kei cars. It’s a compact tall-boy hatchback, measuring less than 3.4 meters in length, making it ideal for urban traffic. Its wide base and flared wheel arches give it a sporty and stable appearance. The car’s square shape, flat bonnet, and squared rear give it a modern appeal.
The front of the car features circular LED headlights with three-section DRLs. A black plate is provided between the two headlights, housing the charging port and air intakes. The glass tailgate design is reminiscent of the Honda Brio, making the car even more attractive.
Interior Shows Production-Ready Setup
The cabin design of the Honda Super-One Prototype indicates that this model is very close to launch. Inside, a 2-spoke steering wheel, a layered dashboard, and physical buttons are provided to make driving easier. The car features two displays—a horizontal infotainment screen and a square instrument display.
Honda has also added a simulated 7-speed gearbox and sporty virtual engine sounds. This aims to give the driver an engaging driving experience similar to that of a conventional engine car, enhancing the enjoyment of driving an electric car.
Powertrain and Performance
Although Honda hasn’t shared exact details about the Super-One Prototype’s powertrain, the company has stated that it features a Boost Mode function that makes the car more powerful and responsive. It aims to provide an interesting, engaging, and supportive driving experience. This clearly indicates that Honda intends to position this model not just as a city EV, but as a performance-oriented electric car.

Launch Details and Potential Markets
The Honda Super-One Prototype is expected to launch in 2026. The company will initially launch it in Japan, the United Kingdom, and a few other countries. While no official announcement has been made for India, given Honda’s growing EV focus, it’s expected that the car will also appear in the Indian market in the coming years.
