Homemade Hair Oil: If your hair is falling, has become dry or its growth has stopped, then homemade hair oil made from home remedies can be of great help to you. Instead of chemical oils available in the market, pure oil made at home nourishes the hair from within and strengthens its roots.

Homemade oil does not contain any chemical elements, hence it is safe for both hair and scalp. It contains ingredients like natural herbs, coconut oil, amla, fenugreek and curry leaves which enhance hair growth and also eliminate dandruff.

Ingredients required to make Homemade Hair Oil

• 1 cup coconut oil
• 2 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
• 10-12 curry leaves
• 1 small amla (grated or dried amla powder)
• 1 teaspoon castor oil (optional)
• 1 teaspoon aloe vera gel
• 2-3 drops rosemary or lavender essential oil (optional)

How to make hair oil at home

• Add fenugreek seeds, curry leaves and amla in it.
• Cook them until they turn black.
• Turn off the gas and let the oil cool down.
• After it cools down, filter the oil and fill it in a glass bottle.
• Now add aloe vera gel and essential oil and stir well.

How to apply homemade hair oil

• Make the oil slightly lukewarm.
• Massage your scalp gently.
• Apply oil evenly throughout the hair.
• Leave for at least 2 hours or overnight.
• Wash hair with mild shampoo the next day.
