Chris Gayle has become the Lanka Premier League's (LPL) official Brand Ambassador for Season 2025, which will be held in July-August 2026 after the culmination of major international series. The revised schedule ensures uninterrupted access for players and spectators to the excitement of the tournament as it reaches its sixth and largest edition so far.
Gayle, one of the greatest and most exciting players in the history of the game, adds to his unparalleled record in international and franchise T20 cricket an inexorably larger-than-life personality that exactly matches the LPL's increasing profile for high-stakes action, star talent, and fan interaction.
As the league further establishes itself, Gayle's addition and the mid-year window combination set the LPL up to gain international attention and provide an even more thrilling cricket experience.

The Lanka Premier League in 2025 will witness five franchises Colombo, Dambulla, Galle, Jaffna and Kandy clash against each other in Colombo, Dambulla and Kandy before the playoffs determine the champion.
