Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat headlined by Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa is making noise at the box office for all the right reasons. The movie is made for Rs 25 crore and has collected double that amount. As per industry tracker Sacnilk the movie has grossed Rs 52 crore so far. Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat Box Office Collection Harshvardhan Ranes film was released on the same date as Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s Thamma. While Ranes film faced tough competition from Khurranas movie it has still held its ground strong. Sacnilk reported that Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat collected ₹2.22 crore on its ninth day. The film had a strong start collecting Rs 9 crore on its opening day and maintaining steady momentum throughout its first week. It earned Rs 7.75 crore on Wednesday and Rs 6 crore on Thursday before witnessing a slight dip to Rs 5.5 crore on Friday. However the weekend brought a rebound with Rs 6.25 crore on Saturday and Rs 7 crore on Sunday. Entering its second week the film slowed down to Rs 3.5 crore on Monday but showed a modest recovery on Tuesday with Rs 4.5 crore. Harshvardhan Rane Expresses Gratitude Expressing gratitude Harsh thanked fans for showing their support. He said “This Diwali you supported the films of two outsiders. Ayushmann Khurrana’s film released along with mine. Watch both the films please and enjoy both. This sends a good message out that aap logon ne akele poora ka poora Bollywood se nepotism hi khatm kar diya (you people alone have wiped out nepotism from Bollywood).” He added “I hope you like it. And those of you in your family who haven’t watched it yet please come again with them.”
