Netflix has announced special global events and a world premiere for fans worldwide ahead of the final season of the popular horror adventure web series Stranger Things. According to media reports, the global premiere of the final season will take place on November 6, 2025, in Los Angeles, a day fans celebrate as “Stranger Things Day,” marking the date when the show’s character Will Byers was taken into the Upside Down.
At the premiere, the show’s creators, the Duffer Brothers, along with the cast, will appear on the red carpet, while the first five minutes of Season 5 will be exclusively shown to fans. The event will be broadcast live globally so that fans around the world can participate.
Netflix has also announced multiple fan events for the iconic web series across North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Oceania, and Latin America. Special celebrations, walk-through experiences, and interactive pop-up activities will be held in cities including Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, Tokyo, Riyadh, and Sydney.
Netflix further revealed that the two-hour-long finale episode of Stranger Things Season 5 will have a special theatrical release in the United States and Canada on December 31, 2025, allowing fans to experience the unforgettable ending on the big screen.
