  • According to Vastu Shastra, sleeping with head towards the south is considered extremely beneficial.

East direction – best for students and intellectuals

North direction – negative impact on health

Sleeping with head towards the north is prohibited according to Vastu. It is said that doing so hinders the energy flow of the body and can increase health problems.
This direction also affects the quality of sleep, hence it should be avoided.

West direction – obstacles and unrest in life

  • Sleeping with head towards the west is also not considered appropriate.
  • Sleeping in this direction keeps the mind disturbed and many times unwanted obstacles start coming in life.

Keep these things in mind before sleeping

  • Keep the bed at a short distance from the wall, so that the flow of energy is not disrupted.
  • If the bedroom door is in the south or west direction, do not keep the bed right in front of the door.
  • Negative waves coming from the door can disturb sleep.
  • Do not keep mobile phones or electronic devices near the bedside, as their radiation interferes with sleep and attenuates positive energy.
