DDA New Housing Scheme: Buying a home in a city like Delhi is everyone's dream. However, rising property prices and limited budgets often leave this dream unfulfilled. Now, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is offering a chance to make that dream come true. The DDA is launching the second phase of its Jan Sadharan Awas Yojana (People's Housing Scheme) on November 7th.

The scheme aims to provide affordable housing to economically weaker sections and low-income groups. The first phase, launched in September, received a tremendous response, with all flats booked within hours. Following this success, the DDA has now brought new hope, which will help thousands of people fulfill their dream of owning a home. Learn how to apply.

DDA Scheme Launches November 7

Under the DDA's Jan Sadharan Awas Yojana (People's Housing Scheme), a total of 1,537 flats will be available for sale in various areas of Delhi. These include EWS (Economically Weaker Section) and LIG (Low Income Group) flats. The flats are located in Shivaji Marg, Moti Nagar, Ramgarh Colony near the Jahangirpuri Metro Station, Rohini Sectors 34 and 35, and Narela Sectors G6-G7.

A booking amount of ₹50,000 will be required for EWS flats and ₹100,000 for LIG flats. Applicants will also need to pay a registration fee of ₹2,500 on the DDA portal. Those who registered in the first phase will not need to apply again.

How to Apply?

The entire application process for the scheme will be online. Applicants can log in to the Jan Sadharan Awas Yojana 2025 section on the DDA's official website. After registration, you must upload the required documents and pay the booking amount online. After submitting your application, all the information related to the brochure will be available on the website.

This includes the location, size, and terms of the flats. The brochure also provides contact numbers for on-site officials for site visits. The selection process is completely transparent, ensuring everyone has an equal opportunity to purchase a home.
