Shehzadi Samra says TV channels never paid her for appearances

Pakistani TikToker Shehzadi Samraknown for her simple videos and unique voice, recently revealed that despite appearing on several popular television shows, she was never paid by any TV channel for her appearances.

Samra, who gained massive fame on TikTok for her relatable and heartfelt content, has been featured on various Pakistani television platforms, including Nida Yasir’s morning show on ARY Digital and Mathira’s talk show on News24, as well as in multiple podcast interviews. Her viral voice clips have even been lip-synced by top Pakistani actresses, including Mahira Khanand she now enjoys a huge fan following on social media.

In a recent YouTube interview, Shehzadi Samra opened up about her personal struggles, education, and journey to fame. She shared that she completed her intermediate education (12th grade) and dreams of continuing her studies in the future.

Samra explained that she and her elder sister both work to support their household expenses and their mother. “We both earn around 70,000 rupees a month. My own salary is 37,000 rupees, and with my sister’s income, we manage the household,” she said.

When asked about her TV appearances, Samra revealed, “Neither Nida Yasir nor Mathira paid me for being on their shows. But I don’t mind because those appearances helped me gain recognition and grow my fan base.”

The TikToker also praised her mother for her strength and sacrifices, sharing that she worked hard to raise her daughters and even bought a home in 2001. Today, Samra proudly helps her mother run the household through her own earnings and social media presence.
