New Delhi : Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has signed an important MoU with Mappls app, under which now real time information of Delhi Metro will be available directly on Mappls app. This initiative will help passengers in making their journey smarter and convenient. About 3.5 crore users will be able to access this data and plan their journey better.
Maples Features available in the app
Through the Mappls app, users will now be able to get information about their nearest metro station, metro routes, fares, train changing options, train frequency and travel time directly from the DMRC system. Apart from this, users will also get information about real time train movement, station updates and train delay in the app. This will help passengers to manage their time better and avoid any kind of uncertainty in their journey.
Metro travel in NCR even easier
DMRC Managing Director Vikas Kumar said that with this integration, traveling by metro in NCR will become even easier and time-saving. He said that this will provide better planning, easy navigation and convenient travel experience to the passengers. At the same time, Rakesh Verma, co-founder and group chairman of MapmyIndia, said that this partnership will soon be included in the multi-modal transport feature of the Mappls app. He also said that this step promotes self-reliant India and use of indigenous technology.

DMRC said that this data integration with Mappls app will not only increase transparency, but people will also be able to report civic and traffic issues directly from their mobile. This step will prove important in improving urban mobility, increasing passenger convenience and realizing the vision of Digital India.
