Haryana’s Cooking Competition: Ashwini Sethi becomes the winner

  • ‘Kahin Ghum Na Ho Jaye Season 8’ was organized in Badkhal

Faridabad. A state level program was organized at the Institute of Hotel Management, Badkhal to revive traditional Indian cuisine and promote regional culinary traditions. 34 participants participated in this competition and enthralled the audience with their cooking skills. This time Ashwini Sethi captured the first position, while Kavita Malhotra and Kalpana Rai stood second and third respectively.

Program coordinator Harpreet Kaur said that this time the theme was ‘Mera Rajya, Meri Thali’, which highlights the importance of India’s regional culinary traditions. The competition has been organized by the organization ‘Let’s Give Back’, which was founded by Late Babetta Saxena in 2016. After his demise it is being taken forward by retired Colonel Atul Saxena.

National winners will get a prize of Rs 1.5 lakh

Famous chefs Parvinder Singh Bali and Vinod Saini participated in this program as jury. The contribution of State Coordinator Parul Goyal, Co-Coordinator Neeru Goyal, and National Program Coordinator Reena Mukherjee was important in the success of the event. The competition is supported by Padmashree Chef Sanjeev Kapoor, Chef Ranveer Brar and actress Suchitra Pillai.

The grand finale of the competition will be held in January, in which the national winners will be awarded a prize of Rs 1.5 lakh. The contribution of many organizations in this program was commendable.
