East Singhbhum, 1 November (Read). Ghatshila on the call of Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee
A meeting-cum-conference of Congress party officials and senior leaders regarding the assembly by-elections was organized at Ghatshila Marwari Dharamshala on Saturday.
District President Parvinder Singh presided over the program.
State co-in-charge Sirivela Prasad and state president Keshav Mahato Kamlesh attended the conference as chief guests.
Ghatshila Legislative Assembly By-election Campaign Committee, Block wise Election Steering Committee, Block Supervisor, State Representative, Block President, Mandal President, Panchayat President, senior leaders and BLA-2 mainly participated in the meeting.
On the occasion, Sirivela Prasad said that Congress party workers, BLA-2, Panchayat President and officials should work only to ensure the victory of the alliance candidate. Follow the party dharma strictly in every situation. He said that under the leadership of BJP, people in the country are troubled by unemployment, inflation and rampant increase in education. Democracy is being weakened day by day and votes are being stolen.
Serve the party by risking your life: Kamlesh
On the occasion, the State President said that one has to serve the party at the risk of one’s life. Even if life is lost, the honor and dignity of the Congress Party should not be tarnished. Our ancestors have nourished the Congress Party with their blood and sweat. Our high command has decided to make alliance candidate Somesh Chandra Soren (JMM) win under the alliance.
On the same occasion, Minister Deepak Biruwa, Minister Chamra Linda, Pawan Singh, former MLA Laxman Tudu participated in the conference and called upon the people to make the alliance win.
On this occasion, senior leader Pradeep Kumar Balmuchhu, former minister Banna Gupta, Bandhu Tirkey, Manzoor Ansari, Jaleshwar Mahato, Amba Prasad, MLA Sonaram Sinku, Naman Viksal Kongadi, Minority Commission Vice Chairman Jyoti Singh Matharu and other leaders participated.
In the meeting, Congress leaders Kaltu Chakraborty, Tapas Chatterjee, Ghatshila block president Satyajit Seet, Dhalbhumgarh block president Satdal Giri, Musabani block president Sanjay Kumar Sah expressed their views and talked about making the alliance candidate win.
The cooperation of Mo Bholu, all the block presidents, Mandal President Naresh Mahakud, Sameer Medina, Kanhaiyalal Sharma and other Congressmen in making the program successful was commendable.
