New Delhi: The third T20 match between India and Australia will be played on Saturday November 2 at Bellerive Oval in Hobart. The first match of the series was washed out due to rain while Australia easily defeated India in the second match to take a 1-0 lead. Now Team India faces the challenge of leveling the series. Under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav the Indian team may make some changes to its lineup this time. Eyes on Arshdeep Singhs return In the second T20 match both India’s batting and bowling proved weak. The team was bowled out for just 125 runs in 18.4 overs and Australia chased down the target in 13.2 overs. The biggest question after the match was the decision to leave out Arshdeep Singh. He is India’s highest wicket-taker in T20 Internationals so his return is expected in the third match. Kuldeep Yadavs expensive spell In the match played in Melbourne Kuldeep Yadav did take 2 wickets but he proved to be quite expensive. He conceded 45 runs in just 3.2 overs. Harshit Rana took two wickets and also contributed some runs with the bat but his economy rate was also a cause for concern. In contrast Varun Chakravarthy bowled economically taking 2 wickets for only 23 runs in 4 overs. Therefore there is a possibility that Arshdeep Singh might replace Kuldeep Yadav. Possible changes in the team India may make minor changes to its playing XI in the third T20. Shubman Gill and Suryakumar Yadav will be expected to score big runs while Tilak Varma and Shivam Dube can play crucial roles in the middle order. Either Sanju Samson or Jitesh Sharma could be chosen as the wicketkeeper. In the bowling department Jasprit Bumrah Varun Chakravarthy and Axar Patel will be the team’s main weapons. Probable Indian Playing XI: Abhishek Sharma Shubman Gill Suryakumar Yadav (captain) Tilak Varma Sanju Samson/Jitesh Sharma (wicketkeeper) Shivam Dube Axar Patel Harshit Rana Kuldeep Yadav/Arshdeep Singh Varun Chakravarthy Jasprit Bumrah. Story Highlights: The third T20 match between India and Australia will be played in Hobart on November 2. Australia currently leads the series 1-0. There is much discussion regarding Arshdeep Singh’s potential return to the team. Kuldeep Yadav’s expensive spell could lead to changes in the lineup.
