What is the new rule?: Now if you issue a check for an amount of ₹ 5 lakh or more, then after cutting the check, you will immediately get its information (like check number, date, The amount and name of the check will also have to be given to the bank. How to give this information?: You can give this information through the bank’s mobile app, internet banking or by visiting the branch. What is the benefit?: When this check comes to the bank for payment, the bank will match it with the information given by you. If the information does not match (like someone has changed the amount), then the bank will immediately reject that check and your money will be saved.
