NASA claps back at Kim Kardashian over Moon landing claims

NASA has responded after reality star Kim Kardashian questioned the 1969 Moon landing. On a recent episode of The Kardashians, she said she thought the Moon landing might have been fake. She also mentioned watching videos of astronaut Buzz Aldrin talking about it.

In reply, NASA Administrator Sean Duffy clarified the facts on X (formerly Twitter). He said, “Yes, we’ve been to the Moon six times before… and we will win this space race too.” He reminded everyone about NASA’s Artemis program. This program plans to send astronauts back to the Moon, including the first woman and the first person of color.

Duffy also invited Kim Kardashian to visit NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. He wants her to see the Artemis Moon mission up close in the coming years.

Kim also asked questions about the interstellar object 3I/Atlas. Scientists say it could be one of the oldest comets ever found. Her curiosity shows that many people are interested in space.

Moon landing conspiracy theories have existed for decades. Experts say the internet spreads these old ideas quickly. According to the Institute of Physics, all claims that NASA faked the Moon landings are false. NASA has clear evidence. This includes photos, videos, and Moon rocks. Scientists worldwide have studied the rocks. They confirm these samples can only come from the Moon.

NASA’s response shows that the Moon landing was real. The Artemis program is the next step for humans on the Moon. It will allow new astronauts to explore and continue humanity’s space journey.
