India created three Guinness World Records under women’s health campaign ‘Swasth Nari’, ‘Strong Family’

India has achieved a historic achievement in the field of women’s health. Union Health Minister JP Nadda shared this information on social media platform X handle that the country has won three Guinness World Records under the ‘Healthy Women, Strong Family’ campaign. This has become a new example in the field of health system and public participation of the country.

Union Health Minister JP Nadda said that this campaign was run from 17 September to 2 October 2025. It was linked with Nutrition Month so that work could be done together on nutrition and health of women, adolescent girls and children. The goal of this campaign was not just to cure diseases, but to focus on preventive health care. Under this, special initiatives to women’s health were taken in every district of the country, which included services like free health check-up, nutrition counselling, sanitation, vaccination and maternity care.

The distinction of three Guinness World Records

JP Nadda said that the efforts of this camping have got India a place in three Guinness World Records simultaneously. This achievement not only marks a new milestone for India’s health system, but also shows that when the government, health workers and citizens work together, the impossible becomes possible.

These records are made in several categories:

World record for organizing the most number of health camps

Record of providing health check-up services to the largest number of people simultaneously

Record of the most comprehensive community health awareness campaign

Statistics that tell the story of success

The minister informed that during this period, more than 19.7 lakh health camps were organized in every district of the country. More than 11 crore people participated in these camps, in which a large number were women and adolescent girls. In these camps, BP, anemia, diabetes, breast cancer and reproductive health were checked. Along with this, sessions on nutrition counseling and mental health awareness were also organized. At many places, women were also given information about health services and government schemes.

Minister gave credit to women

JP Nadda said in his post, ‘This record breaking achievement is a proud step towards healthy women, strong families and developed India.’ He described it as a collective effort in which doctors, nurses, Asha workers, Anganwadi workers and local communities worked together. He further said that the foundation of a healthy and developed India can be laid only by the empowerment of women and their good health. This campaign has proved that India is now establishing world leadership not only in treating but also in preventing diseases.
