Ahtisa Manalo, Miss Universe Philippines 2025, arrived in Thailand on Sunday to compete in the upcoming Miss Universe pageant. Her arrival created excitement among fans who gathered at the airport waving Philippine flags and holding pictures of her.

The official arrival date for all contestants was November 2, but Manalo’s entry stood out. Her supporters filled the airport with cheers, proudly showing their love for the Filipino beauty queen.

“The love and support were overwhelming,” the Miss Universe Philippines organization shared in a post, describing the enthusiasm of fans who welcomed her.

Manalo, 28, impressed everyone with her outfit inspired by Thai culture. She wore a white lace top with a draped sash over one shoulder and wide trousers — a graceful nod to her host country’s traditional style.

Before leaving Manila, Manalo received a heartfelt send-off at Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Family, friends, and supporters gathered to wish her luck as she set off for the competition. “Thank you for the beautiful send-off, Philippines!” she wrote on Instagram.

Ahtisa Manalo is competing to win the Philippines’ fifth Miss Universe crown. The country has previously produced four titleholders: Gloria Diaz in 1969, Margie Moran in 1973, Pia Wurtzbach in 2015, and Catriona Gray in 2018.

This year’s Miss Universe is the biggest in history, with more than 120 contestants from around the world. The final coronation night will take place on November 21 in Thailand.

Manalo has already become one of the most talked-about contestants. Fans at home and abroad are hopeful that she can once again bring the crown back to the Philippines.
