Jannik Sinner has won the Paris Masters 1000 title and reclaimed his position as the World No. 1 from Carlos Alcaraz.

The Italian tennis star defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime in straight sets (6-4, 7-6) to clinch his first title in France's capital city.

The victory also extended Sinner's unbeaten streak on indoor courts to an impressive 26 matches, dating back to the 2023 Davis Cup Finals.

He now trails Alcaraz by just 1,050 points in the ATP Live Race to Turin, setting up a thrilling showdown at the ATP Finals.

Notably, Auger-Aliassime's strong run to his second Masters 1000 final has improved his chances of qualifying for the ATP Finals as well.

Sinner was dominant throughout the match, winning 93% of points on his first serve in the opener and dominating rallies from the baseline.

Although Auger-Aliassime raised his level and saved multiple break points in the second set, Sinner continued to starve his opponent of opportunities.
