Priyanka Gandhi Vadra shared a post on social media X regarding increased pollution in Delhi. Tagging PM Narendra Modi and CM Rekha Gupta, he wrote that we all are breathing the same air. Steps should be taken to improve this.
Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra wrote on social media – It is really disturbing to return to the air of Delhi first from Wayanad and then from Bachhwara in Bihar. The pollution covering this city seems to have cast a veil of smoke and gray over it. Now is the time for all of us to come together and take some steps in this regard, regardless of our political compulsions. He said that the Central and State Government should take immediate action.
Priyanka Gandhi said that whatever steps they take to reduce this terrible situation, we will all support and cooperate with them. Year after year the citizens of Delhi become victims of this poisoning and they have no solution. People suffering from respiratory problems, children commuting to school every day and especially the elderly need to act immediately to remove this dirty smog. He said that we all are breathing this air. He appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CM Rekha Gupta and said that please take immediate action.
AQI is very bad
In fact, the air quality in the national capital has declined in the last few weeks. AQI readings in major areas here have ranged from ‘very poor’ to ‘severe category’. According to the average reading of 39 monitoring centres, the AQI is 303 (very poor), but areas like Wazirpur and Anand Vihar have recorded ‘severe’ AQI readings.
