Chocolate Shrikhand Recipe

Material (Chocolate Shrikhand Recipe)

  • Curd (hung curd) – 2 cups
  • Powdered sugar – ½ cup
  • Cocoa powder – 2 tbsp
  • Dark or milk chocolate (grated) – 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence – ½ tsp
  • Milk – 2–3 tbsp (for creaminess)
  • For decoration – chocolate shavings or chocolate chips

Method (Chocolate Shrikhand Recipe)

  1. First of all, tie the curd in a muslin cloth and hang it for 4-5 hours so that all the water gets drained out. This will give you hung curd.
  2. Now put hung curd in a bowl and beat it well with a whisker or spoon so that it becomes completely smooth.
  3. Add powdered sugar, cocoa powder and vanilla essence into it. If you want, add some milk to give it a creamy texture.
  4. Now add grated chocolate to it and mix gently. Put the Shrikhand in a serving bowl and keep it in the fridge for 1-2 hours to cool.
  5. Serve chilled Shrikhand with chocolate shavings on top.
