BSNL Validity Reduced: government telecommunication company BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) has made a major change in its prepaid mobile plans. The company has reduced the validity of many recharge plans, although there was no increase in the price. This means that now customers will get the benefit of less days at the same amount as before. Recently BSNL had launched 4G service, after which a large number of users turned to this network. In such a situation, the new changes can prove to be a shock for both old and new customers. However, BSNL plans still remain affordable compared to private telecom companies. Let us know the validity of which plans has been reduced.
₹1499 plan
Earlier this plan used to last for 336 days, now its validity has been reduced to 300 days. Unlimited calling and 32GB data is available in it. After the data is exhausted the speed becomes 40kbps. Earlier, 24GB data was given in this plan, that is, the validity has reduced but the data has increased slightly.
₹997 plan
The validity of this plan has been reduced from 160 days to 150 days. In this, 2GB data, unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day are available. The speed reduces after the data is exhausted. The price is the same but the validity has been reduced by 10 days.
₹897 plan
The validity of this plan has now reduced from 180 days to 165 days. Earlier 90GB data was available in it, now only 24GB data will be available. Calling is unlimited and 100 SMS per day are also included. That means there has been a reduction of 66GB in data.
₹599 plan
Earlier this plan was valid for 84 days, now its duration has been increased to 70 days. In this, 3GB data, unlimited calling and 100 SMS are available daily. Validity has been reduced by 14 days.
₹439 plan
Earlier this plan used to last for 90 days, now it will be active only for 80 days. It offers unlimited calls and 300 SMS, but there is no data benefit.
₹319 plan
The validity of this plan has been reduced from 65 days to 60 days. It offers 10GB data, unlimited calls and 300 SMS.
₹197 plan
Earlier this plan used to be valid for 54 days, now it will be valid only for 48 days. This includes 300 minutes of calls, 4GB data and 100 SMS.
₹147 plan
Now this plan will be valid for 25 days. In this, unlimited calling and 5GB data is being given, whereas earlier 10GB data was available. That means the data has also been halved.

BSNL has kept the prices the same, but has reduced the validity of almost all major prepaid plans. The company says that this change is a step taken towards network improvement and increasing service quality. However, customers will now get the benefit for fewer days than before.
