Fatal Accident in Barabanki District

A horrifying incident occurred in Barabanki district, Uttar Pradesh, resulting in the deaths of six individuals at the scene. The accident was so severe that it left onlookers in shock. Late at night, a truck collided head-on with a car, completely destroying the vehicle. The crash led to the immediate fatalities of six people, while two others sustained serious injuries.

According to police reports, the collision took place near the village of Kutulupur on the Deva-Fatehpur road, involving a speeding truck and an Ertiga car. The impact was so intense that four victims died instantly, and two others succumbed to their injuries while receiving treatment at the Deva Community Health Center.

Upon receiving the news, District Magistrate Shashank Tripathi and Superintendent of Police Arpit Vijayvargiya arrived at the scene. Rescue teams and police worked to extract the injured and transported them to the district hospital. The identities of the deceased are currently being verified. District Magistrate Tripathi confirmed the death toll of six.

Additional Superintendent of Police (North) Vikas Chandra Tripathi stated that preliminary investigations indicated both vehicles were traveling at high speeds. He mentioned that the two injured individuals are being treated at the district hospital. Eyewitnesses reported that the truck was speeding and lost control upon seeing the oncoming car, resulting in the collision. The police have seized the truck involved in the accident.

Earlier, a similar incident occurred in Jaipur, where a dump truck wreaked havoc on the roads. In the Harmada area of Jaipur, a speeding dump truck caused destruction on Monday afternoon, colliding with several vehicles and resulting in 13 fatalities and 10 injuries. District Collector Jitendra Kumar Soni confirmed this information, stating that the dump truck was traveling rapidly from Road Number 14 towards the Lohar Mandi petrol pump, hitting vehicles along its path.
