On completion of 150 years, Vande Mataram song will be sung collectively in BNSD Shiksha Niketan: Anil Dixit

Kanpur, 04 November (Read). On Tuesday, a preparatory meeting was held at the North District Office of the Indian Janata Party located at Naveen Market in Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh for collectively singing the song on the completion of 150 years of Vande Mataram song. This information was given by BJP North District President Anil Dixit.

BJP North District President Anil Dixit said that our national anthem was composed by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay in 1875. In 1950, the country’s first President Dr. Rajendra Prasad gave the status of national song to Vande Mataram. To commemorate its 150th anniversary, our national leadership on 9th November at 150 places across the country and 18 places in Uttar Pradesh, of which Kanpur city is also one.

He said that collectively it has been decided to sing Vande Mataram in its original form. Due to the strong national sentiment and inspiring effect of the song Vande Mataram, the British government banned its singing. The song Vande Mataram became the main slogan of the Swadeshi movement in the freedom struggle and was a source of inspiration for revolutionaries like Bhagat Singh, Bal Ganga Dhar Tilak, Lala Lajpat Rai, Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chand Bose.

Addressing the meeting, District President Anil Dixit said that on November 7, people of Indian Janata Party and Vichar Parivar wearing indigenous clothes and holding the national flag tricolor in their hands will sing the Vande Mataram song in its original form which has five stanzas at BNSD Shiksha Niketan Vidyalaya, Benajhabar. Which was reduced to two posts by the previous Congress governments for appeasement.

The District President gave necessary instructions regarding the program to all the officials, divisional presidents and divisional in-charges present in the meeting.

District media in-charge Anurag Sharma informed that District Minister Anupam Mishra has been made the coordinator of this program.

Santosh Shukla, Jitendra Vishwakarma, Anurag Sharma, Ranjita Pathak, Satendra Pandey, Janmejay Singh, Nawab Singh, Devnath Mishra, Parmanand Shukla, Atul Dixit, Rohit Sahu, Sunita Gaur, Deepak Shukla, Ram Autar Sengar, Vidhi Rajpal, Mahesh Soni, Manoj Agarwal, Abhiraj Singh, Yash Jaiswal, Radha Saini, Neeta Mishra, Ravi Pandey etc. were prominently present in the meeting.
