Karnataka's Vision for 2032
The Chief Minister of Karnataka, Siddaramaiah, announced on Tuesday that his administration aims to transform the state into India's skill capital and achieve a $1 trillion economy by the year 2032, leveraging talent, technology, and determination.
During the inauguration of the Bengaluru Skill Summit 2025, he outlined ambitious goals, including providing skills to 3 million young individuals by 2032, increasing female enrollment in ITIs to 33%, doubling skill capacity at the district level, and enhancing global placement ties through the International Migration Centre-Karnataka (IMC-K).
