A Special Birthday Celebration

In Mumbai, Indian cricketer KL Rahul expressed his love for his 'best friend, wife, and lover' Athiya Shetty as she celebrated her 33rd birthday on Wednesday.

He shared a touching photo of the couple in a warm embrace on social media, along with a mirror selfie taken during a shopping outing.

Additionally, Rahul shared a playful image of Athiya flashing a peace sign while he stood next to her.

In his heartfelt birthday message, he wrote, "Happy birthday to my best friend, wifey, lover, stress ball, goofball. I love you more with each passing year @athiyashetty (sic)."

Athiya and Rahul began their romantic journey in 2019, and after a period of dating, they exchanged vows on January 23, 2023, at a picturesque farmhouse owned by Athiya's father, Suniel Shetty, in Khandala.

The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Evaarah, on March 24, 2025.

Suniel Shetty also took to social media to share his birthday wishes for his daughter.

He posted a charming photo of himself with Athiya at a café.

Suniel's heartfelt message for Athiya included, "Wishing my heart in human form, a beautiful soul, a beautiful day... happy birthday my baby... keep shining, keep believing, keep being you (sic)."

Athiya's brother, Ahan Shetty, also shared his love for her, calling her his 'biggest supporter, protector, and best friend' in his birthday tribute.

He posted a picture of the two of them dressed in matching earthy tones.

Ahan expressed, "Happy Birthday to the one who’s been my biggest supporter, protector, and best friend. You’ve stood by me, believed in me, and fought for me in ways I can’t even explain. Happy birthday…love you always."
