- Beetroot grated
- curd
- salt
- Black pepper powder
- Chaat masala
- Finely chopped coriander
- Oil
- Mustard

- To make beetroot salad, first wash the beets with water and boil them to make them soft. After it cools down, peel it and grind it finely.
- Take grated beetroot in a bowl and add curd to it. Combine both well. Then add salt, black pepper powder, chaat masala and coriander and mix again lightly.
- Heat oil in a small pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida and curry leaves and fry well. It’s hot
- Pour over the beetroot-yogurt mixture, stir gently and switch off the heat immediately.
- Allow the salad to cool for a while and then serve.
- The colder the curd, the fresher the salad.
- Don’t overcook the tadka, otherwise it may taste bitter.
