First voting, then refreshments: Prime Minister

Voting for the first phase of Bihar assembly elections starts today at 7 am. Voting is taking place today on 121 assembly seats in 18 districts. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to the people to vote for the Bihar Assembly elections. On X he wrote, Today is the first phase of the celebration of democracy in Bihar. I urge all the voters of this round of assembly elections to vote with full enthusiasm. On this occasion, my special congratulations to all my young friends of the state who are going to vote for the first time. Have to remember- first voting, then refreshments.

On the other hand, Union Minister of State for Agriculture Ramnath Thakur voted first at booth number 73 of Karpuri village of Samastipur. After voting he told that he votes in the name of development. Even today they have voted in the name of development. The first phase of voting has started in the district.

Bihar government minister and BJP candidate from Bankipur, Nitin Naveen has cast his vote at Miller High School, booth number 394 and 396 in Digha, Patna. RJD candidate Veena Devi has voted from Mokama assembly constituency.

As voting began for the first phase of Bihar assembly elections, Union Minister and BJP leader Giriraj Singh on Thursday offered prayers at a temple in his native village Barhaiya in Lakhisarai.
