Select the chat you want to hide

Long press on the chat you want to hide. This will highlight the chat and additional options will appear on the screen.

lock chat

Tap the three dots (⋮) in the upper right corner of the screen. You’ll see the option to lock the chat – select that to secure your conversation.

View locked chat folders

Once locked, the chat will move to a special section at the top of your chat list called the Locked Chats folder.

Hide locked chat folder

To make this folder invisible, open the Locked Chats section, tap the three dots again and select Hide in Settings.

Before hiding, you will be asked to create a secret code. This code is important because it is the only way to access your hidden chats later.
