Shehnaaz Gill who is currently making headlines for her impeccable performance in the film Ikk Kudi is known for her honest and outspoken nature. Recently singer turned actress was again seen making another confession that left the audience both stunned and amazed for her honesty. Speaking about her past relationship the Honsla Rakh star opened up about betraying her ex-boyfriend. But whats interesting is that she did this not out of malice but because she felt “unloved and unappreciated.” Her revelation sparked widespread discussion about emotional neglect financial equality and what women truly seek in a relationship. Why did Shehnaaz Gill betray her boyfriend? In a heartfelt conversation Shehnaaz Gill who was asked whether she has ever betrayed anyone said “I have. In love. Not otherwise… I only did it because the vibe wasn’t matching. When you expect something from someone and they don’t meet those expectations… I have those expectations.” She further explained that she did it because she felt undervalued and disconnected. “You can’t invest so much in someone else because then you are wasting your time” she added. Her Views on Relationships Sharing her thoughts on emotional connection Shehnaaz said “We should be able to show our work to each other appreciate it together. We should be able to talk to each other without our phones. We should be able to travel together.” She emphasised balance and reciprocity in love adding “I can’t just keep on giving. I believe in give and take. So when such things happen I call it off because you can’t invest so much in someone else.” Shehnaaz Gill on Financial Equality Shehnaaz also addressed money matters in relationships: “All the relationships that I have been in I have always believed in sharing. Like if we are on a vacation we split the bills in half.” She pointed out that many men struggle with the idea thinking “Oh she earns her own money? I can just spend my money.” She questioned this insecurity suggesting it could come from discomfort around a woman’s financial independence. “I am very particular about these things” she said stressing that “financial stability is very important because it ensures a secure future.” Expectations from a Partner When asked what she wants from her partner Shehnaaz replied “A woman wants to be loved in exchange for love. If someone can’t love you then what’s the point? I want my partner to be understanding open-minded and independent. They should give me space.” On the professional front Shehnaaz is busy acting in and producing the Punjabi film ‘Ikk Kudi.
