Delhi: The Hong Kong Super Sixes Tournament is now ready for exciting matches once again in 2025. This tournament was originally started to give Hong Kong players the opportunity to play against international stars.
Tournament history
This competition was first organized in 1993 and continued till 1997. After this, it was organized once again from 2001 to 2012. However, due to the increasing influence of franchise T20 leagues, this tournament got pushed back. Veteran players like Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara and Shane Warne have participated in its history.
12 teams in Hong Kong Super Sixes 2025
This time a total of 12 teams will compete for the title from 7 to 9 November at the Mission Road Ground in Mong Kok. The teams have been divided into four groups. The top two teams from each group will reach the quarter-finals. The winning teams will go to the semi-finals, while the losing teams will play in the plate semi-finals. The lowest-ranked team in each group will participate in the bowl competition. A total of 29 matches will be played in three days.
