Who can fill the form?
To fill out the Indian Air Force AFCAT 2025 form, candidates must be between 20 and 24 years of age. The age limit for the Flying branch is not higher. Candidates must be a graduate in any subject in a non-technical branch. Most importantly, they must have at least 50% marks in graduation. For the Technical branch, a B.Tech or BE degree with 60% marks is required. The application fee is ₹550 for all categories. No discounts are available.

How will the selection process be conducted?
Selection is conducted in four steps. First, you must take an online written exam. You are then called for an SSB interview, which lasts five days. Then, there's document verification. Finally, you must pass a medical exam. Medical exams are conducted only at two locations: the Institute of Aviation Medicine, Bengaluru, and the Air Force Central Medical Establishment, New Delhi.

What is the exam pattern?
The written exam is worth 300 marks. There are 100 questions, which must be completed in two hours. Subjects include general awareness, English, numerical ability, reasoning, and a military aptitude test. Each question carries three marks. One mark is deducted for each wrong answer. Prepare thoroughly, as it's important to avoid negative marking.

What is the salary for each position?

Starting with the Flying Officer rank, the basic pay ranges from ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 per month. After promotion to Squadron Leader, the salary ranges from ₹69,400 to ₹2,07,200. A Wing Commander earns ₹1,21,200 to ₹2,12,400. A Group Captain earns ₹1,30,600 to ₹2,15,900. Upon reaching the rank of Air Marshal, the salary is up to ₹2,25,000. The CAS (Chief of Air Staff) receives a monthly salary of ₹2,50,000. Benefits include DA, HRA, flying allowance, kit maintenance, and other benefits. They also include a house, vehicle, medical, and pension.

First, visit the website afcat.cdac.in. The homepage will display the AFCAT 2025 link. Click on it. Fill in the form with details like name, date of birth, and qualifications. Upload your scanned photo, signature, and marksheet. Pay ₹550 online. After submitting the form, take a printout.
