Zarine Khan passes away
Bollywood has suffered a deep shock today. Zarine Khan, wife of famous actor Sanjay Khan and mother of Sussanne Khan and Zayed Khan, passed away. 81-year-old Zareen was suffering from health problems for a long time. He breathed his last on 7 November 2025 at his home in Mumbai. As soon as the news spread, many stars from the film industry reached Sanjay Khan’s residence, consoled the bereaved family and attended the last rites.

Zareen was cremated at Juhu crematorium at 4 pm. Zarine Khan was a model and actress of Parsi origin, who worked with Dev Anand in the 1963 film ‘Tere Ghar Ke Samne’. After her marriage to Sanjay Khan in 1966, she became an important member of the Khan family. He will always be remembered for his simplicity and warmth.

Zarine collaborated with Sanjay Khan for 59 years. They have four children – Sussanne Khan, Simone Arora, Farah Ali Khan and actor Zayed Khan. He also has nine grandchildren. Recently, in July 2025, he celebrated his 81st birthday.

The film industry united and supported the family. Hrithik Roshan, who is Sussanne’s ex-husband, arrived first. He paid tribute at the cremation ground along with his girlfriend Saba Azad. Jaya Bachchan also went to Sanjay Khan’s house with her daughter Shweta Bachchan.

Farah recently praised her mother, writing, “Mum Zareen plays many roles – kind, strong, and the darling of the family.” Zayed had posted a post dedicated to mothers and sisters on Women’s Day. Fans are also expressing condolences on social media. Prayer meet will be organized at JW Marriott on Monday.
