According to this, it has been said that, on average, women sleep about 10 to 15 minutes more than men. This difference may seem small, but there is a scientific reason behind it. They have a lot of work to do throughout the day but are unable to complete their sleep quota at night.
Why do women need more sleep?

Here hormonal changes are seen in the body of women due to which they have to increase the level of sleep. According to the report of Cleveland Clinic here, it has been said that problems like insomnia or restlessness due to premenstrual syndrome and hormonal imbalance are common. After this comes the second reason and that is problem in sleep. Not only this, the problem of frequent awakening or light sleep during sleep is more common in women. According to another study, this pattern was especially seen in women who were stressed or taking care of a child. The result is that even if the total sleep is the same, the level of rest is felt to be less.
