Google Maps will now also show its users the government-approved speed limits of roads. This feature has been launched in 9 cities including Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Jaipur, Faridabad, Lucknow, Mumbai, Kolkata and Hyderabad.

Real-time road updates
Google will now collaborate with NHAI to provide real-time road updates on road closures or road works. So that the users will be able to choose the best route for their journey.
You can book metro tickets from maps
Users will now be able to book metro tickets directly from Google Maps. This service will soon be launched in Delhi, Bangalore, Kochi, Mumbai and Chennai. Users will be able to save tickets from Google Wallet.
Voice support in flyover navigation
Many people get confused whether to go on flyover or not during travel. A new feature is now being added to clear this confusion. Now it will be done by voice so you don’t even need to look at the screen.
