American actress Meghan Markle, who is engaged to British Prince Harry, is making a comeback to acting after an eight-year break.

According to international media, Meghan will star in the upcoming Amazon MGM Studios film “Close Personal Friends”. Reports suggest she may play a character similar to her own personality.

The Duchess of Sussex was recently spotted on the film’s set in Pasadena, California. The movie also features well-known actors including Brie Larson, Lily Collins, Jack Quaid, and Henry Golding. However, the production team has kept most details of the storyline secret.

Meghan Markle last appeared on an American television show in 2017. She retired from acting and modeling after marrying Prince Harry in 2018, focusing on her royal duties and philanthropic work. This new role marks her official return to the entertainment industry.

Moreover, Meghan Markle opened up about her family life during a live event in California. The Duchess of Sussex joined writer and lifestyle creator Courtney Adamo for a heartfelt talk in Montecito. She spoke warmly about her daily routines with Prince Harry and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

During the conversation, Meghan revealed a family tradition they follow at dinner called “Rose and Thorn.” Through this practice, each family member shares the best part and the most difficult part of their day. It helps everyone understand each other’s feelings and experiences more deeply. Meghan said this simple activity brings them closer as a family. Instead of just asking, “How was your day?”, the game opens the door to real conversations.

Meghan smiled as she shared that Princess Lilibet often describes her day as “really fun.” Her daughter’s cheerful response, according to Meghan, reflects her happy personality. Prince Archie also enjoys taking part in the family talks, which have become an important part of their evenings.

The Duchess also shared how their mornings begin with music. She said that playing songs around the house fills the day with positive energy. When one of the children feels unwell, Meghan wraps them in a soft blanket and spends extra time with them to help them feel better.

Throughout the discussion, Meghan reflected on how different her life is now compared to her time in the royal family. She described her current home as peaceful and full of love. The simple joys of parenting, family meals, and everyday laughter, she said, mean far more to her than royal duties ever did.
