breast cancer
A data of patients coming to the cancer department of AIIMS Bhopal has been extracted. It has been revealed that now men are also getting breast cancer in large numbers. Earlier, out of every 100 women, one man had this problem, but now this figure has reached 4. Doctors say that cases of breast cancer in men are related to hormonal imbalance, obesity, poor diet and smoking. Although the data of AIIMS Bhopal has not been confirmed with the national level published data of cancer, but doctors have said this from clinical experience.
AIIMS experts say that men have less amount of breast tissue, so it becomes difficult to identify a lump quickly, which cancer There is a delay in identification. According to Dr. Madhavanand Kar, Director of AIIMS Bhopal, hormonal balance in men is deteriorating due to poor lifestyle. The level of female estrogen hormone is increasing in men. Due to this, there is a lump in his chest which is also turning into cancer.
The matter of concern is that this problem is visible not only in adult men but even in children. In many cases, increasing obesity in men is also becoming the reason for this. This is because increasing obesity increases estrogen levels, which can increase the risk of breast cancer in men.
Bad eating habits are spoiling hormonal balance
Dr. Kar says that the main reason for this hormonal change is wrong eating habits and fast food. Many children depend on fast food because both parents are working. Youth living away from home also depend on such food. These foods are tasty, but not good for health. They often contain taste enhancing chemicals. The sauces and toppings used in burgers, pizza and chow mein also contain chemical adulteration, which spoils the hormonal levels of the body.
Chemical is a big danger
Dr. Kar says that now chemicals are being added even to fruits. Chemicals are used in farming itself. Chickens are given steroids to grow faster. When a person is eating chicken, it is also going into his body. This increases hormonal imbalance. This not only causes gynecomastia, but also increases the risk of breast cancer in men.
